God, I love this man. Second only to Tim McIlrath in terms of musicians who have truly impacted my life. I remember at the beginning of high school, I was really depressed and listening to really shitty, dark, gloomy music, and then I got Belt in some online sampler and I swear to god that song broke me out of all that shit and got me into music that dealt with angst effectively rather than being all whiney about it.

Long story short, I love this man.

i agree. self-titled is great though, defintly close as their definitive album.

This was a fantastic interview. Max seems like such a cool guy.

I don't think that Max Bemis could be cooler if he tried or if he cared. He is amazing and so extremely genuine.
