i still think one of the best things to happen to me was catching the video for "i want to be buried in your backyard" on fuse one night. i love nightmare of you, but i just can't get into this album. is it just me?

I can't get into this album, either. I really tried. I love NOY; they're one of my favorite bands.
This is actually one of my least favorite songs on the album.
I think the problem is that it's mostly made up of redone demos that didn't make it to the first album. The album is really just lacking inspiration.
I liked the video, though.

You're not the only one, don't worry. The new album is really lacking the energy that made their first album so amazing. Not only that, there are none of Brandon's screeches to be found on any songs, as far as I know.

Good video though, the ending caught me offguard.

I actually really like this video and song. Throughout most of it I was irked, just seemed like some pretentious ass wandering around his apartment, but the ending was awesome.

I was really surprised with the ending.. just like "wha... whaat...WTF?!"

the production killed the album, it was just mixed terribly, one of the worst mixed albums i have heard in a long while

really loved the video, and the fact that it was one continuous shot. very cool.
