I, with others here, will jump in and say that I myself don't understand the ragging on Crimson. Love that album.
Crimson > Agony & Irony in my honest opinion.
All I know is when I see them here they better play '97. That's my fav song & they haven't played when I've seen them since maybe like '03.

It was just the mark where their music was less sincere via some dark shit and just became dark shit. I still think it's a good record, and I've used the analogy 9 million times on this site alone, but I was always a bigger fan of the heart, rather than the skull.
