Umm...who? I understand the hard work some bands put in, but some bands make it and some don't. They can't blame anyone else for not making it. I'm tired of people always hating on bands that "got popular" despite lack of talent or whatever. People can like whatever music they want, and bands get popular because people like them.
I understand, and feel somewhat sympathetic, but seriously. Most jaded article I've ever read. I agree with the guy above me, some bands make it, some bands don't.
How am i gonna steal something from a band i have never heard of before?
and if you make music because you love it, then sucess should be mesured by the artist. not by how many copies the album sales or how many people come to your shows.
I've been making crappy music at home for a few years now, and i don't stop making it because i never made the cover of ap. I continue to make music because its the universal language and can relate things in a way no words ever could. so maybe these guys did what they did and felt like it was time to bring it to a respectful end and move into another part of thier lifes. i'm sorry but sucess just has nothing to do with money
