What set up do you have? Settings really depend on the show, the subject, and the lighting.

Currently I have a Canon Rebel XT. My primary lens is my Sigma 17-70 f/2.8-4.0. I love the wide angle. And I occasionally use a 50mm f/1.8. My EXIF data for club shots usually hangs around f/2.8-3.5 , ISO 800 and 1/10-1/30 exposure.

Hopefully by the summer I'll be able to upgrade to a Canon 7D - mainly for the higher ISO ceiling.

I've got a Nikon D200 and a Canon Rebel XT. I know I should play around with them since they're both nice cameras, but I haven't really had ample time to do so. There are a couple shows I'm going to next month with a fairly small stage, and lots of bright lights in every direction.

Any general suggestions for this type of setting?
