Heard Zen Arcade for the first time when I was 13, my mind was blown. I remember feeling so fucking sad when I listened to Monday Will Never Be the Same despite it being only 54 seconds of piano.

How do you mention every album but "Everything Falls Apart." That's a rager.

The Replacements are my favorite band, and I know they had a bit of a rivalry but damn the Husker's were great too.

Agreed. I'm reading All Over But The Shouting (Oral history of the Replacements) at the minute. The scene in Minneapolis at that time was sooooo good.
I love that book!! I've read it more than once. The chapters on Husker and the Replacements are awesome.

Great band. Zen Arcade is a terrific album. I love "Beyond the Threshold". It was a big influence on "Spin the Black Circle" by Pearl Jam which is one of my favorite songs.
