The Little Heroes - Thank You
Record Label: Wednesday Records
Release Date: November 10, 2009
Following the success of their debut album Cinematic Americana, The Little Heroes continue to find a place of their own in a vast musical world. Thank You continues to please the ear with an indie-rock vibe that bring comparisons to musical greats in the likes of Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, and Snow Patrol. Listeners are effortlessly drawn in like a moth to a burning flame. Recorded in a Los Angeles studio, the band's sophomore attempt has already caught the attention of media outlets across the country. Over 25 films and television shows have allowed for melodic sounds of The Little Heroes to guide the way, while iTunes offered Thank You as a part of their Indie Spotlight

It is such a grasp on the art of music that has allowed for Thank You to stand out as a masterpiece. "Say I'll Be Gone" is a strong opening reminiscent of the early days of Mae's career. Songs like "We All Get To An End", "Back Where You Came From" and "Postcards Sent West" are also high points of the albums 8 tracks. Admittedly, it's a short album, lasting only around 30 minutes. But it does provide enough songs from beginning to end to help the band make a name for themselves.
