1) Anyone that Bamboozle convinces to reunite. It worked for Face to Face; Piebald; Something Corporate. Good catalyst that often sparks more dates.

2) Small, upcoming bands. Give them a shot.

3) Good bands that aren't using Bamboozle as their NYC/NJ stop.

Another criteria for bands on Bamboozle is that they should probably not be broken up like a few on that list.

smart move on their part after the failure that was last year, I'm sure they are trying to get everyone's opinion so they get more attendees. That being said, in retrospect it is very weird to think that Brand New played at Bamboozle

They did this last year too, except you had to email them instead of fill out of form. Sure there will be a mix of good bands and shit as always.

who the hell cares? its going to be the same old shitty bands that have played the last few years. bamboozle is a joke now a days. %60 of the line up stays the same every year. and what happened with bringing skate and surf back? only way I would go to bamboozle this year is if they had a Midtown reunion or blink played.

I know the reasoning, but it's a shame when Bamboozle swallows a great tour (like Thrice, as Phil mentioned). Thrice was awesome at 2008 Bamboozle, but if you wanted to see them proper on The Alchemy Index and you lived in NYC, you were shit out of luck. So I wish they weren't there at Bamboozle.

yea, but this past year (for Left, not Right) was absolutely horrible, they couldn't really even pull in any big names that were worthy. I know it hurt ticket sales on this coast

I just checked -- 3% of Bamboozle was the same from 2010 and 2009.

"Skate and Surf" is a name.

The festival is largely the same as it has been, only run much, much smoother under the "Bamboozle" name at a much better venue.
