Fearless is a solid record. Hopefully Speak Now is as good or better.

Have you head "Mine"? I keep fluctuating in my confidence, but that song has me rather optimistic.

Well, sure, but even the best albums, at least for me, have certain times when they sound the best, and Fearless sounds best for me in the autumn. After hearing "Mine," seems like Speak Now may continue this trend.

I think Speak Now will be incredibly autumnal feeling. From the vibes of "Mine," and the release date, I imagine it's going to have a fall feeling. If it were a summer feeling album, they'd have pushed it to the summer, or delayed it to the spring. I think the fact it's releasing in the fall has a lot to do with the vibes of the songs.

This is true. Though I'd say country-pop Pet Sounds. But that's just splitting hairs anyways, haha.

My Thriller comparison based on:
A retardedly successful follow up to a very promising/surprising debut. Uber-pop. 75% of the album being hit singles. A little something for everyone.

Love Pet Sounds though.

I am watching Letters to Juliet with my mom right now. Love Story was just used. Thought of you three.

Is that movie as underwhelming as it looks?

Actually, when you phrase it that way, Thriller is much more apropos. Pet Sounds was initially unsuccessful, wasn't received well by long time fans, and people didn't understand it's fantastic nature until years after the fact. Also, MJ was an idol, more comparative to Taylor than Brian Wilson is, that's for sure, haha.

Though I firmly believe that if you can listen to Pet Sounds and find nothing you like about it, you probably hate music. After many more listens this past year, it's pushing Revolver for my favorite album of all time.

Yeah. It's wonderful. I wouldn't rank it that high, but "God Only Knows" is certainly in a top 20 songs discussion though.

No movie is worth your time as much as The Social Network is, just saying. Saw it last night, and was incredibly pleased. I went in with the lowest of expectations, despite what reviewers/friends told me. I thought it'd be boring/repetitive/mildly interesting, and I was ever so wrong. Kept me incredibly interested, and Jesse Eisenberg is so brilliantly sarcastic and witty in his portrayal of Zuckerberg. Definitely, definitely worth seeing.

I saw it on a request of my school newspaper, so my review of it will be up on Wednesday, I think.

Can't wait to see that next weekend. If you haven't seen The Town, I'd say that's an essential watch, too.

To each his own, but we had the discussion before where I said the 60's, in general, mean the most to me musically, so obviously PS is way way up there for me.

Sloop John B is sickeningly underrated, too.

That's adorable, and I don't mean that condescendingly, lol. Awesome. The closest I've had to this is watching part of The Notebook on TV with my mom.

My girlfriend's been asking me to go to the movies with her more, so I'll suggest that we see that.
