Thanks. I'm kinda wondering if I should look at that site now, and be on the look out for those jokes, or if I should wait until I finish the rewatch and see how many of them I caught

If it's your first time through, I wouldn't look at it. It's so much better when you read through after you've seen it

It's not my first time through, but it's been at least a couple years since I've seen the entire series. I'll remember things as they are about to happen. I started reading through that site, but I stopped about 1/4 of the way through because I was only remembering bits and pieces. I think I'll look at it again once I finish the rewatch

It's not just about it being an outdated reference. It's like the show built itself this whole universe and while it definitely referred to some contemporary pop culture, it's overly intrusive and jarring to watch more than once, and it feels lazy like so many other pop culture references.

that's pretty weird. Doc has been done for a long while, I saw it a couple years back and have a copy sitting on my desk right now actually
