When I hear some of the verses in the first song it reminds me of the atmosphere I was in when I listened Juturna through and through. The guitar- and vocalstyle remind me of Juturna, in Dreamwalker at least. And that's just an opinion as well.

By no means I'm saying this is the same quality or whatever (it's not IMO). It's just what I first thought of when I heard it.

Anyone who puts Mew in a RIYL with this album needs to be shot. At least in the foot. There's nothing about this band that resembles a "Mew" sound. I understand doing it with newer Oceana because of the dancy beats and bass lines, but this band? Come on...

And I just don't get the whole atmospheric comparions to Circa Survive and the Anthony green vocal-style comments that are being thrown about. Juturna's atmosphere is not nearly as dark as whatever "atmosphere" is on this album.

Agreed that it sounds nothing like Thrice. But "incredible" is pushing it..

Don't you people listen to more music? This is hardly anything progressive about this album. The music itself is good, and shows promise, but the vocal melodies and the screaming (which lacks emotion and practically sounds canned...what's the point?) leaves so much more to be desired.
