Yes. I think it's just a much lower register than he usually sings.

I've really been impressed with these EPs and I'm really looking forward to the full length.

I wish they would come back to MA...I'd kill to see them live again especially with the quality of the new material they've been putting out.

Just bought the third EP; The Wheel is a gorgeous song.

Huge Lovedrug fan here, but I gotta be honest, I'm not a fan of the third EP. I know I'm gonna get ripped here, but the songs are very simplistic and in my opinion, not in a good way. It sounds very different from what they have done in the past. There are a couple songs like Our War and The Wheel that I can get into, but most of the others sound like an attempt to be "pop." Really not enjoying the sound. I hope that the full length with be a bit more like the 1st two ep's rather than the 3rd.

They have said that the third EP is material that won't be on the upcoming album. That aside, I don't see that these songs were Lovedrug's "attempt to be pop".
