This is the type of thinking that needs to start going out the window. Would you rather a 14-track record with three songs of filler or a 10-track record with no filler? Less songs = less money it costs to record, more awesome ideas that get put into less songs. I still like hearing about 12 songs but 10 is becoming the norm and I'm very welcome to it. Also, with 10-song records, we see a lot of bands putting out music every year and a half to two years, and in some cases, we'll get a band who will put out a full length plus a four or five song EP not long after. Tis a good thing. |
Really? Is that true? Because if so, Id be even more welcome and open to that. thats what i like to hear. and i know they wanna spend as less as possible, but I just hate seeing 10 track or less albums now-a-days. Im just saying most longer track albums I see dont have as much filler. But whatever. I guess i'll have to just get used to it anyway, because you're right that its what were gonna see from now on.
