I know AP has a diverse group of users, and although the whole "indie" scene has been getting more popular in the forums (as opposed to "punk" or whatever you want to call it), it seems bands/artists with female vocals still are having trouble breaking through. It's kinda disappointing when album/artist threads that Lueda and I create barely pass one page. Maybe creating a thread to throw a bunch of great stuff into will help, maybe not. I just find it weird when not even Eisley or Gold Motel can garner many replies

I'll try to populate this thread with videos so it's easy to give a quick listen to some artists. More than likely this will fail, but it's worth a shot... who's with me!

slightly OT but female singer isn't a genre, if so Shiny Toy Guns and Sara Bareilles would be exactly the same

Backed. Although, I think if you're into "female singers" you should be able to get into fairly easily, or something.

did I claim it to be a genre? STG and Sara can be posted in here if you want.

I am just making the point that besides Paramore, and maybe a couple others, it seems AP is turned off by female singers
