Didn't see a thread for this, and the cast is fantastic



Currently shooting in Ann Arbor, Michigan, "Ides" stars Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood, and George Clooney, who is also directing. Based on Beau Willimon's play "Farragut North," "Ides" casts Clooney as a Howard Dean-type Presidential hopeful, while Gosling plays the lead character---a wunderkind press secretary who finds himself embroiled in the ugly world of back-room politics.

They're filming this here in Cincinnati. Film crews have been all over downtown and surrounding ares. I have to see it now, of course.

Good Night and Good Luck would've been my #2 pick for Best Picture that year, behind Brokeback. Really loved that movie.
