T-Virus- Horror Thir13teen
Label- BloodandGuts Records
Release: 2005
Who?
A Swedish quintet made up of a janitor, a computer salesman and three welders who combined their forces in early 2002 to create metal and punk-rock that closely emulated their biggest musical influences: video games and horror movies. After three years of buzzing in Sweden, the band recorded their debut, Horror Thir13teen, and put it out in 2005.
How Is It?
If you like Resident Evil and those bad zombie remake movies, then you actually might like this release. If you like songs about Resident Evil and bad zombie remake movies, then you are going to absolutely eat this up. When it comes down to it, T-Virus actually play decent punk-rock when they want to. However, it is punk-rock that is bludgeoned to death by bad metal and some of the most simplistic and uninspired lyrics out there today. But hey, if you're after metal without too much substance to absorb, you might want to pay to get this shipped to you.
I got 13 FRAGS!: Resident Evil (not the soundtrack, the video game), Dawn of the Dead, killing puppies in your backyard, your local death metal band.
