i KNEW this album was influenced by Oceana after I listened to it. lots of similarities, which is a very good thing.

not trying to take anyone's opinion and strangle it, but where are you people hearing so much Thrice influence in this record?

occasionally, his voice sounds like Dustin's when he yells..and that's about all I've heard.

A bit surprised that he was inspired by the worst UO album (imo) and that he didn't mention Thrice, but i hear some of these influences on this new album.

Underoath's first four albums are a lot worse then anything else they've released.

This album came out of left field for me. MM were always a band I've heard people talk about but I never listened until this album. I am blown away at how good the songwriting and musicianship is. Without a doubt this will be one of my favorites this year.
