Such great news!!!!!! Unfortunately I discovered Lydia this past year after they had already broken up, which was truly depressing since they were so amazing. Now I get a second chance, yay!!!

Same situation as you in terms of discovering the band post-breakup.

Really excited about all of this news, and the 'The Cinema' song sounded good too. I guess Leighton is just a genius.

Shit, I had no idea Illuminate was released on a major label... Always thought they were independent.

Same damn thing happened with The Snake The Cross The Crown and As Cities Burn.

Great interview. Sad that Illuminate on vinyl looks unlikely. Interesting that Leighton doesn't understand why it has the cult like following it does. Also interesting that he doesn't like and can barely listen to This December. Although I must admit, there are only two tracks on that album I listen regularly.

Looking forward to more music from Lydia and really anxious for The Cinema, sounds like it could be great.

Super bummed I had a ticket for the farewell tour, but decided not to go :(
