As someone who watched the majority of the stream, that is what was going on.

I don't see how it makes her desperate. Apparently, you have to scan each CD separately for it to count as multiple sales. I doubt they gave her hundreds of receipts for all those CDs.

She's earned her success. Find it sad that people still try to rip on her one way or another.

So do you think that the Lady Gaga's sales figures will go into the books with an asterisk (*) for performance enhancing pricing?

I agree. It seems like she did a really cool thing. People are gonna hate just to hate though. The way some people on this site talk about her you'd think she stabbed their grandmother or something. She's talented, earned her fame, and obviously cares about her fans. What is there to hate?

And that article says she stayed past midnight...but she was there past 3 AM--that's dedication. I bet she gave those albums to fans who couldn't afford to buy it themselves. She's a good person. Dislike her music all you want, but I don't think this makes her desperate or lame. If any other BAND did this, you would call them dedicated not say they were just trying to increase their album sales.
