This whole album is weak, with the exception of "Thought of Losing You". Even that song is pretty un-dredg.

as a fan for almost 5 years... and the band being together for about 20... I'm one of the few that love this new album. Dan the Automator produced it, of course it's going to be different.

The vocals and lyrics are on par if not better than previous releases. Just because the guitars aren't distorted and the time signatures aren't off... doesn't make me appreciate them less.

Lyrically the album is sub-par. However, I'd still give the album a B. I like a lot of their instrumentals and beats on this album, the intro track and The Tent come to mind. I'm also stoked they recorded a full-band version of The Ornament. I think Thought of Losing You might still be my favorite off the album.

I would say lyrics are on-par with their last release, but even that wasn't very good. The lyrics for Catch Without Arms are vastly superior.

I agree that Dan The Automator played a huge effect on how different this album sounds.

I listened to the samples on Amazon because it was the MP3 deal for today.. but it sounded pretty boring from what I could hear.

Album was a big letdown for me.
