This album really is fantastic. One of my favourites of the year so far. Happy to say I contributed to that number one.

No1's are a formality now for this band. Best band England has to offer atm, imo of course...

I'm pretty sure I agree there. Can't think of anyone as good as them releasing music right now from the UK.

I definitely agree. Consistently great. Can change their sound and still sound amazing. Supporting an independent label as well.

Actually yeah Biffy Clyro I can agree with. Haven't enjoyed anything from Muse in about 8 years, so I would be struggling with that one.

I think there's a lot of great British bands at the moment, incredibly strong selection of them releasing music lately/this year.

As much as I don't care for Arctic Monkeys (they just don't interest me in the slightest), its good to see sales of British music, and non manufactured music for that matter, so healthly at the moment

The only typically British guitar bands I've bought this year (so far) are Arctic's, Beady Eye and Noah And The Whale. All great albums in their own right, but there's just so much stuff I can't get into even for want of trying at the minute.

Yeah understandable, obviously age old debate of matter of opinion. But there's definitely a great handful of bands (who are also very popular) from the UK coming out with great albums this year whether people are fans or not. Whilst I love this record, guess I'm just saying they aren't the only great British band around at the moment.
