Who:

Their bio would have you believe that the “definitive Experimental Christian-Hardcore record of the year is here”. Umm…great?

How is it?:

Some may take beef with the hardcore tag, but KYHATW does succeed on being innovative enough in its arrangements to strike a chord on the experimental front. Vocalist Zach Dawson has a an angelic voice that some may find to be a bit of an odd fit for this type of music, kind of in the Christian Guerrero mold and it does get preachy at times (see “Real Men Will Be Found With Their Face Flat on the Ground”). Though, to the band’s credit, they never try to mask their beliefs and anyone who is likely buying this disc is already fully aware of Akissforjersey’s religious leanings.

I like them alright, I kind of have to because my buddy plays guitar for them
