Right. My opinion is that names like thay should be kept out regardless. Anyway, I didn't care for the last LP that much - hopefully the new one is a more return to form as he said.

The '59 Sound is my favorite Gaslight release, but Queen is a respected last.

For the record, I never said Brian was a bad guy or badmouth Gaslight - they just aren't compareable.

I, along with everyone else, loved The 59 Sound. In fact, it was in my top albums of that year.

pretty crazy they churned that thing out in a few days, then went on to record the '59 sound. such an underrated EP.

I still think American Slang was a masterpiece in its own.

I loved their last record, probably because it was my intro to TGA. But I love that and the 59' Sound equally, I really don't think I could choose.

They really need to start releasing some live stuff. With a 4th studio album they probably have retired playing some of their songs by now...

100% agree. Why is it when you compare to past greats, people get so up in arms? Greatness existed then, and it exists now.

I hope he's right. American Slang was the first album of theirs I didn't care for.

Any talk of a return to the 59" sound in any way is a good move for this band, Thrice should take some notes on this way of thinking...
