I know that, but for a band that has so many great songs, you'd think a tribute wouldn't include one of their covers.

I agree too... And from many people I know who are Trio fans have also said Exploding Boy is one of their worst songs in general. I don't like it. I guess they were just Cure and Trio fans so they decided to kill 2 tributes with one stone

Either that or they somehow didn't realize that the A3 version was a cover in the 1st place.

funny, demos to both of those songs are on the 'Another Year On The Streets' compilation. is that where you first heard them? if that's so, we are the same. that comp introduced me to Alkaline Trio, The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, Reggie and the Full Effect, and No Motiv. all bands that i love now.

Are the vocals/harmonies for Floral Terrace that bad, or are they really using autotune for an Alkaline Trio tribute song? Definitely sounds like autotune. /facepalm

So far the cover of Stupid Kid is the best I've heard. Kinda reminds me of old Starting Line.

That Message from Kathleen cover is absolutely horrible. Same for Sundials. Why are these bands doing acoustic/slower covers of Trio songs when Trio just did that themselves. The record company that put this out didn't plan everything out as well as they should have.

I had no interest in this album at first but i've liked all the songs i've heard so far.
