I'm jealous you have heard the new Deas Vail album! From what I've heard in Sixteen and Summer Forgets me, I feel like this could be the masterpiece we all wanted Birds & Cages to be.

Two Lefts Don't Make a Right... But Three Do, The Anatomy of Tongue and Cheek, and Mmhmm all hold extreme sentimental value to me, because they're honestly the CDs that got me into music and, as a result, have had a huge influence on my life. Forget and Not Slow Down was a really good album, and very emotionally open, don't get me wrong - but I've been listening to those three for... seems like forever. And they're albums I come to almost invariably when I'm feeling emotionally askew, which isn't often, but when it hits, it hits really hard. So, long story short, what I'm saying is, those three albums - Mmhmm specifically - have the most meaning for me.
