November? Why can't it be sooner? Either way I'm stoked to see the track list and album cover. This band will blow up within the next year or so I know.
Saw them open for The Dear Hunter at Knitting Factory. There was one song in the set that was 8-10 minutes long and completely slayed. Sooo heavy. Excited to hear the album.
Fred Feldman: If you are reading this, I want to hear the album.
The Dear Hunter has their moments, but they're the sort of band I'd find boring too often. I can't see a sensible response to O'Brother as anything less than constant headbanging, or basking in their beauty.
Secondly, great avatar man! One of my favorite albums ever, I feel like no one recognizes its greatness.
How It Feels is slowly becoming my favorite SDRE record, close behind The Rising Tide. Roses In Water and Every Shining Time You Arrive are great songs
They headlined a show in Ottawa for about 3 fans and 7 randoms and they still killed it. New stuff sounded great. Hopefully this challenges for my AOTY but there is soooo much other good stuff this year.
