I think more than anything, this move was to appeal more to the "emo kid" crowd. I mean, to be honest, I was expecting something like this song to find itself on the game's roster.

It still has great guitar in it. I don't see why anyone would complain at this choice.

Then they should have chosen a MUCH better pop-punk song than this.

it has a fun riff throughout the song.
some cool back up guitar in the verse.
the chorus will be easy
and the solo is pretty nasty.

well i think that since the song was in madden and since a decent amount of people play both games. that it was just a bit of a smart move. although i do agree there are far better options.

Why didn't they choose a Say Anything song or Lifetime song?
