Find the vocals are too indulging. Loved the pain and anguish in Jordan's voice in their past two, but it seems like they over do it at certain points. Or maybe I'm just tired of that style, but they were my favourite band, and I haven't even really gotten into this album yet. Excellent guitar work though.

I get the same effect when I hear Jordan deliver that line. That in itself is a huge accomplishment.

I just find them (vocals) way to quiet and they don't shift gears as much. I'm definitely not giving up on the album, I just haven't found its charm yet in the few listen throughs I've had. King Park is the exception though.

St.Paul is probably my favorite song on the record. Great review though.

just saw these guys on their wildlife tour, and i gotta say it was a really intense show. showcased the songs perfectly. fantastic album.

when they played king park, it really shook the earth.

La Dispute is just way to good, at first Jordan's voice made me iffy about them (as I'm sure everyone thought), but once I got it and started looking at the lyrics, I started enjoying his vocals and appreciating his ingenious lyric writing ability.
