I don't quite understand. It's a track from a mixtape of Lupe's that will be released Thanksgiving, but the track is a remix of an Ellie Goulding song? Is it Lupe rapping over the beat from the remix? And what is the mixtape, is it any different from a regular mixtape?

The Bassnectar remix of Lights is awesome, If it is Lupe rapping over the top of it I don't know how it can be bad

Ok I don't know if I'm right because I wasn't familiar w the original song to begin with, but basically I think its just him rapping over the bassnectar remix of Ellies song. This track will be on his mixtape that will come out thanksgiving, just like Enemy of the State did 2 years ago. I dunno what you mean by is it different from a regular mixtape

It's good for the first minute.... then Lupe comes in rapping in slow-mo. The heavy beat that comes in then just drags it down.

Why do rappers feel the need to go over stuff like this? The beats are meant to stand alone and they do.

This is bad.

I love Kanye, but going over I Can't Stop was disastrous.
