Released: December 12, 2006
Unsigned

Who?

Singer/Songwriter Gaba Gavi of Louisville, Kentucky playing moody acoustic rock with a full band behind him.

How Is It?

Many times while I was listening to The Things We Want To Hear, I forgot that I was listening to it. It's so quiet sometimes that you just forget it's there. It's great music to listen to while reading a book or falling asleep to, but It wouldn't suggest listening to it during a long road trip at night. It begins with "Anything But Slow" a light hearted acoustic ditty that gives me a real Three Doors Downesque feel (you know you used to listen to them). "Closer To Me" could be a song played in the background at a dinner party. "Sweet Words" is basically a hash between the last two songs I talked about. It's basically just a record you'd listen to as background music and enjoy the first couple spins.

Recommended If You LikeThe Fray, The New Amsterdams, Three Doors Down
