Motorcycle! Blood Blood Blood! – Four Year Beast Rage EP
Label: Unsigned
Release Date: June 8, 2007
Who:
Small town Indiana four-piece combine their love of social studies with their love of rock to make an EP where each song depicts a certain event in history. Would calling it “epic” be too much?
How is it?:
A lot smarter than a 5th grader. The EP maps out like a high school musical written on the United States. Vocalist Craig Turner is supremely gifted, showing enough range to conquer everything from a slavery-inspired spiritual (There’s A Fountain Flowin’ For The Soul Unclean”) to the P!ATD for smart people opener (“Robber Barons”). Dude’s got some chops, which kind of sucks for the rest of the band because Turner is leaving for college in the fall. If they get even a comparable replacement, Motorcycle! Blood Blood Blood! could (and should) go far.
Attention dudebros, Sam Adams isn’t just a beer: “Partea”
Professors with tenure: Queen, Panic! At The Disco, Horse The Band, Foreign Islands
