What game(s) are you going to play this holiday weekend? Anyone going out to brave the Black Friday crowds for some sweet deals?

THIS WEEK IN GAMING

• In a new interview with PSM, Hideo Kojma announces that there will be a Metal Gear Solid 5. Time to go dust off the old cardbox box!
• Telltale Games released the excellent Jurassic Park: The Game this week. However, a few naughty Telltale employees have been caught writing user reviews for it on Metacritic. Looks like they forgot the magic word.
• When Bethesda Games announced that they would give a lifetime supply of games to any parent who named their child Dovahkiin (Dragon speak for Dragonborn), they probably thought nobody would do it. That is until Eric and Megan Kellermeyer named their newborn Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer, ensuring a lifetime of awesome games and a possible rough life for the little guy.
• Square Enix has licensed the Unreal Engine 3 for development of several games.
• For those who didn't get to read the graphic novel that came with the collectors edition of Fallout: New Vegas, it is now available on the iTunes store for $2.99.
• As a bonus for PS3 players of Saints Row: The Third, activating the online pass earns them a free digital copy of Saints Row 2.
• After just 48 hours of release, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim sold around 3.5 million copies.
• Vivendi, the majority owner of Activision and Blizzard, has sold three percent of it's stock which is valued at $427 million dollars.
• Rumor is going around that EA Games is pressuring Nintendo to use its Origin service exclusively.
• For those of you old enough to remember going to your local Funcoland at the mall, it's training video has recently surfaced onto the Internet. I strongly urge you to watch the two videos in the link, it's probably the most batshit training video ever created.

What's a cardbox box?

I've put in hours and hours of Skyrim. I'd have to check but I'm over 60 hours on one save and about 8-10 on a second save. As such, I haven't finished Uncharted 3.

Dovahkiin is actually a moderately sweet name. Thanks for the round-up.

I've been playing the new WWE game. Pretty fun game for a casual fan.

Agreed. Not sure why people are stoked. Guess they didn't play the last abomination Square released using the UE3.
