Original versions of these songs are so much better. I'd be so bummed out if I was a pop artist and found out lame nonsense like Pierce the Veil was covering my song.

True that, this is false advertising, and being so, these comps should come to an end. I don't think any of them have been taken seriously since the first one anyway.

Genericore band member 1: Dude, like, what if we took a generic pop song and made it, like, TOTALLY Br00t4l, bro.
Genericore band member 2: Yeah brah, and then we can add in not one but two massive breakdowns with some heavy squeals bruh. And neither the people that like pop or punk will like it because its too "hardcore" for them

usually these are guilty pleasures and somewhat enjoyable, this is the worst installment yet, save for go radios cover.

Every single one of these songs suck so much ass. Don't even get me started on the bands.

I don't see how you can feel this way about Go Radio or the Tonight Alive covers. Both of those were pretty god damn solid =/
