People on Vacation is the unlikely pairing of Bowling For Soup's Jaret Reddick and Smile Smile's Ryan Hamilton. Despite their differing backgrounds, the Texans come together to combine the pop punk sensibilities of the former with the indie rock background of the latter. The result will please fans of both bands and newcomers alike. Thanksgiving comes early on their AP.net profile, where you can stream "It's Not Love." If the pre order purchase free tracks that I've received and the live performances are anything to go by this EP is going to be fantastic. I've heard all 6 songs in various live formats but I'm utterly gagging at the bit to hear the whole studio fancy pants she-bang! These are not BFS or Smile Smile but a gorgeous collaboration of the best bits of both. Check them out - you'll be glad.
