Yeah-- from what I remember they were selling them for charity before, then downloads popped up everywhere.

for the most part, i'm a fan of demos. there is something special about listening to the skeleton of a song in its raw form.

I have a lot of the demos from before the album came out and I love them more than the album.. Since half the album was produced by Matt Sharp of The Rentals and the other half by Hunter Burgen of AFI. Their influences are strong on on the demos I have and I think when the album was mixed and mastered it lost a lot of their individual touches in order to sound more like Tegan & Sara. It's been a while since I've pulled those out, but the song that really struck me "Are You Ten Years Ago". It has a very different mix, heavier more prominent electronic drums. The constant rolls are really crushing. Also "The Con" has thicker, more aggressive synths, although it's a messy mix. Everything all around is a lot more raw. I'm excited for this!

Already picked up the hand-numbered physical copy from The Con tour a few years back.

Awesome. I love hearing different versions of Tegan and Sara songs. They're always interesting.

chris walla produced this record. matt + hunter each played bass on half. just a friendly heads up. one of my absolute favorite albums.

i love this album with a great passion....and i already have the demos.

that's awesome. The Con was a great record. I hope to hear more songs with Hunter in them.
