no fucking way. i love this venue. providence is such an easier drive from worcester than boston too. this is a bummer. RIP club hell.

have you been to the met in pawtucket? like 15 min. from club hell. such a great place too, around the same size...maybe those shows will get sent to the met in the future. we can only hope.

I haven't been there yet but I heard they don't like crowd surfing there. Confirm/deny?

It looks like a few of the Club Hell shows that were booked are going to either PVD (right next door to Hell at the old Jerky's) or Firehouse 13. Both decent replacements in terms of size and atmosphere... but no good place for me to film.

Awesome MO set. Sweet to see them play Rare, Dear You, Decemberism, and Atlas.

the met does not allow crowdsurfing or stage diving. you can film there if you get permission from the band and have them let security know. good vantage points would be either from the sides of the stage or in the back (they have elevated seating for food/drinks).

Thanks for the heads up! Bummer about the lack of crowd surfing and stage diving. Side stage is usually rough on the audio, but the back could work assuming I can get a spot there. I'm sure I'll make it there soon.

Yo, any word on where the acoustic show is going to be now that Hell is closed?

I was really surprised with how good the vocals were from MOB. They've definitely gotten better live, especially Zac.
