UPCOMING KIVEN RELEASES FOR THE END OF 2011 INTO 2012
Los Angeles progressive rock band Kiven will be releasing the first of their “ReMade Series” next week. The band takes a step away from their usual rock sound and has ‘ReMade’ several of their tracks in the rather minimal electronic style of James Blake meets Bon Iver and Radiohead. The first of the series will be for the latest single of ‘Frigid Stares,’ followed by ‘Two In The Same’ in the weeks to come.
On December 7th, Kiven released a video accompaniment for ‘Frigid Stares’ directed by fashion photographer Taschka Turnquist. The video was shot in various locations of Los Angeles, the band’s home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XUERclAXZc

Kiven will be entering Sonikwire Studios in Irvine, CA on December 15th to record their latest EP. Tentative release date for the effort will be late January to early February.
