The Fire The Flood – Truth Seekers
Label: No Sleep Records
Release Date: August 7, 2007
Who:
North Carolina foursome that will appeal to kids in black parachute pants as well as those of you wearing mesh shorts.
How is it?:
Proof that not all screamy hardcore bands are created equal. A chaotic, shapeshifting clusterfuck of pound, pound, relent, pound. I’d take this over more trendy bands like The Devil Wears Prada any day of the week.
It’s A Metaphor, Fool: “The Trees Eat Themselves”
My heart isn’t bleeding, it’s beating: Botch, Coalesce, Nora
Horrible, nothing new or that hasn't been done before. The recycled Pantera riffs especially make me cringe. There is maybe two worthwhile tracks in the middle, but hey, at least it's not as bad as the new Panic Division.
