True. Cocker's are sometimes just as good as the originals. See: The Wonder Years (show). But mostly I really don't like them at all.

As for this song, vocals killed it and why would they speed it up? i don't get it, props to them for trying something different i guess.

probably because you can't outright cover a beatles' song and it be any good. i dig what they did, if you love a band as much as those two love the beatlles, why wouldn't you want to cover them at some point?
