i disagree, i think it felt way more "real" than most other production these days...not to mention half what they were saying was they wanted it to be all played instead of punched up performances in pro-tools...It is an entirely different feeling as a musician to record something and know "I played all of that, just like that" instead of "i played it sorta like then they fixed it in the computer"...so it really is a big deal that they did it that way...
not to mention if they're working in their studio, they're probably going to utilize the stuff they have there and not do it analog...

yeah, i agree. i can do without the "Rock n' Roll Brah! Foo's. that said, one of my favorite of last year.

Wasting Light was absolutely amazing and I hope they do take the same approach to recording this next album, thought it gave them a much better, more raw sound
