I hate how so many bands have pulled off ridiculous shit to build hype that now everytime a band does something fun/cryptic/interesting it gets typecast as being a gimmick/demand/stunt. Bummer.

I was hoping this trend would have died with 2011. I can't stand it when bands use this gimmick. Do the show(s) for your fans that care, not for twitter followers. What's more important, kids that come to your shows or a bunch of bots adding you on twitter? Do they not consider fans that don't bother with the site?
