The All American Rejects will release Kids in the Street on March 27th. Our not so mysterious Drew Beringer wrote up a little preview after hearing some new tunes. After hearing the full thing, I've got to agree: the band really stepped up their game on this one. I've got a running joke that the quicker my wife comes in to ask what I've got playing on the stereo, the more I know people are going to love an album. She'd heard of the band before, didn't like them, and within three songs was asking who it was. She was shocked, and after the album finished admitted to really liking what they did. That's a pretty damn good endorsement. As someone who didn't really like their last album, I have come away so impressed that I think they have surpassed Move Along with this one. Oh, and Greg Wells is one hell of a producer. The album sounds fantastic.
