It sounds like two completely different bands. But not necessarily in a bad way...Like you, I tend to get stuck on their "older stuff" but whenever I throw on the self-titled record I tell myself I should listen to it more.

Of course, I don't listen to it more. But whatever. Haha. It's still a ridiculously solid release.
