Today, we are proud to be bringing you an exclusive stream of "Curtain Call", a brand new song from Socratic. The song comes from the band's self-titled album that will be available tomorrow through Socratic's Bandcamp, where you can name-your-own-price for the Jersey band's first record in nearly four years. Head over to the band's AP.net profile to check it out, and let us know what you think in the replies!
I honestly haven't listened to Socratic since Lunch For the Sky (which I enjoyed), and this new song is quite a departure. I'll certainly give their new album a listen when it comes out, but I was overall just so-so with this song.
Now if only Socratic could convince Day at the Fair to record new stuff...

i got an advance of this album to review for a site that may not be up until next week, so i submitted it here yesterday for you guys to check out hoping it could go up before the album drops tomorrow.
either way, this album is incredible. everyone get stoked.
LIMBECK! thats who i was trying to think of!!! thank you! hahaha. but yeah, they sounds like Limbeck now. yup.
i didn't think of that! my riyl for the album was obviously socratic's back catalogue, but also albums like the format's dog problems and panic's pretty odd.
