-Rams Head Live- Baltimore, MD - Large club, capacity around 2000 I think, barricade, easy to get to, good parking, safe area, good sound, decent sized floor, multiple bars, a few balconies. My favorite venues would have to be the Crystall Ballroom and Wonder Ballroom. The Crystall Ballroom is perfect for larger club shows though it gets mostly indie shows with some exceptions every once in a while(MCS, Gaslight Anthem, MCR). It has a much better sound system and venue layout than the similarly sized Roseland Theater. The Wonder Ballroom is sick for mid sized shows (PPND, Thrice, Manchester Orchestra) and the security is by far the most relaxed of any decent sized Portland venue. My favorite smaller venue would have to be Backspace. It's become Portland's main place for smaller punk shows (Bomb The Music Industry, Broadway Calls, Lving With Lions, Banner Pilot type shows) and is the only all ages venue in Portland to allow alcohol throughout entire venue. Pretty much no stage too. Pretty fucking cool if you ask me.

Rockos was going to close down as they were opening a venue in Franklin. But they realized the Franklin venue wouldn't work so they ditched that idea and are keeping rockos open.
