I wish benefit comps nowadays actually had rare/unreleased tracks, instead of album tracks. A bunch of songs I already own is not much of an incentive.

The best benefit comp that comes to mind was In Honor: A Compilation to Beat Cancer from Vagrant Records. Bunch of rare stuff, and went to a great cause. What happened to comps with rare tracks?

We tried to get more unreleased songs. But a lot of the bans that wanted to be involved couldnt make that happen becuase of differwnt situations. We are still really happy with the way this came out and glad that we can do something for a good cause.
