Part of me wants to think this is out of respect for Etta, but the other part of me thinks this is just an attempt at getting some headlines off the death. I suppose I will give them the benefit of the doubt here. Not a bad cover either, just didn't seem to be anything special though.

And I'm not saying they. I'm just always very wary of when groups release a cover of an artist right after a death. In my (sometimes over cynical) mind, it just seems like an attention grabber to me.

Yeah these guys take influence from a lot of old shit and and do a lot of covers. I wouldn't be surprised if John's already been a fan for years.

That was amazing I am sure Etta would be very proud of that cover
