I talked to Travis Richey, Inspector Spacetime, at a convention last night and I asked him about the future of the show. He didn't really seem very upbeat about it and from what he told me, he believes that they recasted his character.

Surely that's because he tried to make his own webseries and everyone was like "hold up, we get the joke but that's still not your property". I like the idea that they've recast him because it'll obviously mean a regeneration, which thematically might fit in with Abed's journey this year...
