It's interesting when looking at all their early 2000's metalcore counterparts that they're one of the few that hasn't faded into obscurity and has managed to stay fresh.
Anyways this album is too sick. The bonus tracks are awesome. Probably their best but it's too early to say for me
I liked it until the word "motherfucker" haha, it just seemed out of place and unnecessary. I do like the concept of whiskey and burning things though, so it is a rad line, just the one word seemed odd. Just my dumb opinion.
the only problem i consistently have with ETID is that they're too good. i always end up comparing every other metalcore band to them, and nobody can ever live up. it's a good problem for the band, bad news for everybody else. ex-lives only sets the bar higher
I absolutely did not think that "New Junk..." could be outdone.
I stand corrected. This is the quintessential Every Time I Die album.
It's like the catchiest parts of Gutter Phenomenon had an orgy with Hot Damn and Last Night....with the progression of New Junk and the RAW sound of Big Dirty.
I can't get over how amazing his voice is. As much as I love all of their albums; this one makes it sound like he was piled up in a hammock on past releases. Keith is in our faces and I think I like it.
Thank you, Every Time I Die. Thank you for this album and making me feel justified every day for claiming you as the end all be all.
