Haha, I just know cause it's what my wife does - and she was recently headhunted to a new position. So I've seen a lot of those job postings lately -- was just goofin.
This sounds more like an unpaid job and less like an internship. I wonder if a lot of companies realize they're not allowed to make profit off of an interns work(like say they designed something for the company, and the company used it, without paying said intern) That can actually lead to a huge lawsuit.
I mean, if it's a company that sticks within some certain boundaries and genres, I can certainly see why.
If I happen to like Metal/Hardcore, and all of the bands are pop bands if I can do the job and do it good why does it matter that I am a metal head I guess is my issue.

If you don't like a band you're working with, you aren't going to put 100% effort into it. It's all psychology.
